Wildlifefotografie in Thanda
Omschrijving:
Nog ruim een week en dan is het zover, dan start mijn avontuur in Zuid Afrika. Wil je weten wat ik precies ga doen, lees dan verder.
Ik zal proberen regelmatig een verslag op deze site te plaatsen en uiteraard ook veel foto's.

Als je denkt dat dit project alleen maar om leuke plaatjes schieten gaat, dan heb je het mis! Het doel van dit project is om de foto's die gemaakt worden tijdens dit project, in te zetten voor het behoud van dit mooie stukje Zuid-Afrika, in het bijzonder het Thanda Private Game Reserve. De betrokkenheid van de lokale bevolking is hierin van groot belang. Daarom wordt er een fotodatabase van lokale wildlife (van olifanten tot kleine dieren als vogels of reptielen) opgebouwd en deze te gebruiken voor educatieve doeleinden.
Eerst een oriëntatie, daarna de cursus
Als eerste paar dagen volg je een oriëntatieprogramma. Je krijgt belangrijke informatie van je begeleiders en maakt kennis met de projecten. Verder leer je een paar woordjes Zulu en bezoek je plaatsen in de omgeving. Zo krijg je de kans te zien hoe mensen op het platteland van Zuid-Afrika wonen en leven. Na de oriëntatie begint een intensieve 3-daagse fotocursus, geschikt voor beginners en gevorderden. Deze cursus wordt begeleid door een ervaren fotograaf en hij zal je de fijne kneepjes van het fotograferen van wildlife proberen bij te brengen.
Foto's en voorlichting
Na de introductie/cursusweek ga je echt aan de slag. Je werkterrein zal het Thanda Private Game Reserve zijn. Een 14.000 hectare groot reservaat op anderhalf uur rijden van St Lucia waar alle wilde dieren acte de présence kunnen geven. Inclusief de Big 5! Verder zul je ook een bezoek brengen aan het dichtbij gelegen iSimangaliso Wetland Park dat op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Dit prachtige natuurgebied leent zich uitstekend voor het maken van landschapsfoto's.
Als vrijwilliger trek je de natuur in, maak je foto's en geef je af en toe les over het belang van natuurbehoud, bijvoorbeeld op een schooltje of buurtcentrum. Maar je helpt ook mee met het verwijderen van afval of uitheemse planten uit het natuurgebied. Of je zet bedreigde inheemse planten en dieren (krokodillen!) weer terug in hun oorspronkelijke leefgebied en maak je informatieborden in zowel het Engels als in het Zulu om de bevolking en toeristen te informeren over het belang van natuurbehoud.
's Ochtends op pad gaan om olifanten, luipaarden, bijzondere vogels of reptielen te fotograferen. En 's middags lesgeven over het belang van natuurbehoud, op een schooltje, kinderdagverblijf of buurtcentrum. Zo kan je dag eruit zien. Maar het hangt natuurlijk helemaal af van lokale omstandigheden, bijvoorbeeld het weer!

Omschrijving:
Nog ruim een week en dan is het zover, dan start mijn avontuur in Zuid Afrika. Wil je weten wat ik precies ga doen, lees dan verder.

Als je denkt dat dit project alleen maar om leuke plaatjes schieten gaat, dan heb je het mis! Het doel van dit project is om de foto's die gemaakt worden tijdens dit project, in te zetten voor het behoud van dit mooie stukje Zuid-Afrika, in het bijzonder het Thanda Private Game Reserve. De betrokkenheid van de lokale bevolking is hierin van groot belang. Daarom wordt er een fotodatabase van lokale wildlife (van olifanten tot kleine dieren als vogels of reptielen) opgebouwd en deze te gebruiken voor educatieve doeleinden.
Eerst een oriëntatie, daarna de cursus
Als eerste paar dagen volg je een oriëntatieprogramma. Je krijgt belangrijke informatie van je begeleiders en maakt kennis met de projecten. Verder leer je een paar woordjes Zulu en bezoek je plaatsen in de omgeving. Zo krijg je de kans te zien hoe mensen op het platteland van Zuid-Afrika wonen en leven. Na de oriëntatie begint een intensieve 3-daagse fotocursus, geschikt voor beginners en gevorderden. Deze cursus wordt begeleid door een ervaren fotograaf en hij zal je de fijne kneepjes van het fotograferen van wildlife proberen bij te brengen.
Foto's en voorlichting
Na de introductie/cursusweek ga je echt aan de slag. Je werkterrein zal het Thanda Private Game Reserve zijn. Een 14.000 hectare groot reservaat op anderhalf uur rijden van St Lucia waar alle wilde dieren acte de présence kunnen geven. Inclusief de Big 5! Verder zul je ook een bezoek brengen aan het dichtbij gelegen iSimangaliso Wetland Park dat op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Dit prachtige natuurgebied leent zich uitstekend voor het maken van landschapsfoto's.
Als vrijwilliger trek je de natuur in, maak je foto's en geef je af en toe les over het belang van natuurbehoud, bijvoorbeeld op een schooltje of buurtcentrum. Maar je helpt ook mee met het verwijderen van afval of uitheemse planten uit het natuurgebied. Of je zet bedreigde inheemse planten en dieren (krokodillen!) weer terug in hun oorspronkelijke leefgebied en maak je informatieborden in zowel het Engels als in het Zulu om de bevolking en toeristen te informeren over het belang van natuurbehoud.
's Ochtends op pad gaan om olifanten, luipaarden, bijzondere vogels of reptielen te fotograferen. En 's middags lesgeven over het belang van natuurbehoud, op een schooltje, kinderdagverblijf of buurtcentrum. Zo kan je dag eruit zien. Maar het hangt natuurlijk helemaal af van lokale omstandigheden, bijvoorbeeld het weer!

Omschrijving:
Nog ruim een week en dan is het zover, dan start mijn avontuur in Zuid Afrika. Wil je weten wat ik precies ga doen, lees dan verder.
Ik zal proberen regelmatig een verslag op deze site te plaatsen en uiteraard ook veel foto's.

Als je denkt dat dit project alleen maar om leuke plaatjes schieten gaat, dan heb je het mis! Het doel van dit project is om de foto's die gemaakt worden tijdens dit project, in te zetten voor het behoud van dit mooie stukje Zuid-Afrika, in het bijzonder het Thanda Private Game Reserve. De betrokkenheid van de lokale bevolking is hierin van groot belang. Daarom wordt er een fotodatabase van lokale wildlife (van olifanten tot kleine dieren als vogels of reptielen) opgebouwd en deze te gebruiken voor educatieve doeleinden.
Eerst een oriëntatie, daarna de cursus
Als eerste paar dagen volg je een oriëntatieprogramma. Je krijgt belangrijke informatie van je begeleiders en maakt kennis met de projecten. Verder leer je een paar woordjes Zulu en bezoek je plaatsen in de omgeving. Zo krijg je de kans te zien hoe mensen op het platteland van Zuid-Afrika wonen en leven. Na de oriëntatie begint een intensieve 3-daagse fotocursus, geschikt voor beginners en gevorderden. Deze cursus wordt begeleid door een ervaren fotograaf en hij zal je de fijne kneepjes van het fotograferen van wildlife proberen bij te brengen.
Foto's en voorlichting
Na de introductie/cursusweek ga je echt aan de slag. Je werkterrein zal het Thanda Private Game Reserve zijn. Een 14.000 hectare groot reservaat op anderhalf uur rijden van St Lucia waar alle wilde dieren acte de présence kunnen geven. Inclusief de Big 5! Verder zul je ook een bezoek brengen aan het dichtbij gelegen iSimangaliso Wetland Park dat op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Dit prachtige natuurgebied leent zich uitstekend voor het maken van landschapsfoto's.
Als vrijwilliger trek je de natuur in, maak je foto's en geef je af en toe les over het belang van natuurbehoud, bijvoorbeeld op een schooltje of buurtcentrum. Maar je helpt ook mee met het verwijderen van afval of uitheemse planten uit het natuurgebied. Of je zet bedreigde inheemse planten en dieren (krokodillen!) weer terug in hun oorspronkelijke leefgebied en maak je informatieborden in zowel het Engels als in het Zulu om de bevolking en toeristen te informeren over het belang van natuurbehoud.
's Ochtends op pad gaan om olifanten, luipaarden, bijzondere vogels of reptielen te fotograferen. En 's middags lesgeven over het belang van natuurbehoud, op een schooltje, kinderdagverblijf of buurtcentrum. Zo kan je dag eruit zien. Maar het hangt natuurlijk helemaal af van lokale omstandigheden, bijvoorbeeld het weer!

Wildlifefotografie in Thanda
Omschrijving:
Nog ruim een week en dan is het zover, dan start mijn avontuur in Zuid Afrika. Wil je weten wat ik precies ga doen, lees dan verder.
Ik zal proberen regelmatig een verslag op deze site te plaatsen en uiteraard ook veel foto's.

Als je denkt dat dit project alleen maar om leuke plaatjes schieten gaat, dan heb je het mis! Het doel van dit project is om de foto's die gemaakt worden tijdens dit project, in te zetten voor het behoud van dit mooie stukje Zuid-Afrika, in het bijzonder het Thanda Private Game Reserve. De betrokkenheid van de lokale bevolking is hierin van groot belang. Daarom wordt er een fotodatabase van lokale wildlife (van olifanten tot kleine dieren als vogels of reptielen) opgebouwd en deze te gebruiken voor educatieve doeleinden.
Eerst een oriëntatie, daarna de cursus
Als eerste paar dagen volg je een oriëntatieprogramma. Je krijgt belangrijke informatie van je begeleiders en maakt kennis met de projecten. Verder leer je een paar woordjes Zulu en bezoek je plaatsen in de omgeving. Zo krijg je de kans te zien hoe mensen op het platteland van Zuid-Afrika wonen en leven. Na de oriëntatie begint een intensieve 3-daagse fotocursus, geschikt voor beginners en gevorderden. Deze cursus wordt begeleid door een ervaren fotograaf en hij zal je de fijne kneepjes van het fotograferen van wildlife proberen bij te brengen.
Foto's en voorlichting
Na de introductie/cursusweek ga je echt aan de slag. Je werkterrein zal het Thanda Private Game Reserve zijn. Een 14.000 hectare groot reservaat op anderhalf uur rijden van St Lucia waar alle wilde dieren acte de présence kunnen geven. Inclusief de Big 5! Verder zul je ook een bezoek brengen aan het dichtbij gelegen iSimangaliso Wetland Park dat op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Dit prachtige natuurgebied leent zich uitstekend voor het maken van landschapsfoto's.
Als vrijwilliger trek je de natuur in, maak je foto's en geef je af en toe les over het belang van natuurbehoud, bijvoorbeeld op een schooltje of buurtcentrum. Maar je helpt ook mee met het verwijderen van afval of uitheemse planten uit het natuurgebied. Of je zet bedreigde inheemse planten en dieren (krokodillen!) weer terug in hun oorspronkelijke leefgebied en maak je informatieborden in zowel het Engels als in het Zulu om de bevolking en toeristen te informeren over het belang van natuurbehoud.
's Ochtends op pad gaan om olifanten, luipaarden, bijzondere vogels of reptielen te fotograferen. En 's middags lesgeven over het belang van natuurbehoud, op een schooltje, kinderdagverblijf of buurtcentrum. Zo kan je dag eruit zien. Maar het hangt natuurlijk helemaal af van lokale omstandigheden, bijvoorbeeld het weer!

[description] => Nog ruim een week en dan is het zover, dan start mijn avontuur in Zuid Afrika. Wil je weten wat ik precies ga doen, lees dan verder.

Als je denkt dat dit project alleen maar om leuke plaatjes schieten gaat, dan heb je het mis! Het doel van dit project is om de foto's die gemaakt worden tijdens dit project, in te zetten voor het behoud van dit mooie stukje Zuid-Afrika, in het bijzonder het Thanda Private Game Reserve. De betrokkenheid van de lokale bevolking is hierin van groot belang. Daarom wordt er een fotodatabase van lokale wildlife (van olifanten tot kleine dieren als vogels of reptielen) opgebouwd en deze te gebruiken voor educatieve doeleinden.
Eerst een oriëntatie, daarna de cursus
Als eerste paar dagen volg je een oriëntatieprogramma. Je krijgt belangrijke informatie van je begeleiders en maakt kennis met de projecten. Verder leer je een paar woordjes Zulu en bezoek je plaatsen in de omgeving. Zo krijg je de kans te zien hoe mensen op het platteland van Zuid-Afrika wonen en leven. Na de oriëntatie begint een intensieve 3-daagse fotocursus, geschikt voor beginners en gevorderden. Deze cursus wordt begeleid door een ervaren fotograaf en hij zal je de fijne kneepjes van het fotograferen van wildlife proberen bij te brengen.
Foto's en voorlichting
Na de introductie/cursusweek ga je echt aan de slag. Je werkterrein zal het Thanda Private Game Reserve zijn. Een 14.000 hectare groot reservaat op anderhalf uur rijden van St Lucia waar alle wilde dieren acte de présence kunnen geven. Inclusief de Big 5! Verder zul je ook een bezoek brengen aan het dichtbij gelegen iSimangaliso Wetland Park dat op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Dit prachtige natuurgebied leent zich uitstekend voor het maken van landschapsfoto's.
Als vrijwilliger trek je de natuur in, maak je foto's en geef je af en toe les over het belang van natuurbehoud, bijvoorbeeld op een schooltje of buurtcentrum. Maar je helpt ook mee met het verwijderen van afval of uitheemse planten uit het natuurgebied. Of je zet bedreigde inheemse planten en dieren (krokodillen!) weer terug in hun oorspronkelijke leefgebied en maak je informatieborden in zowel het Engels als in het Zulu om de bevolking en toeristen te informeren over het belang van natuurbehoud.
's Ochtends op pad gaan om olifanten, luipaarden, bijzondere vogels of reptielen te fotograferen. En 's middags lesgeven over het belang van natuurbehoud, op een schooltje, kinderdagverblijf of buurtcentrum. Zo kan je dag eruit zien. Maar het hangt natuurlijk helemaal af van lokale omstandigheden, bijvoorbeeld het weer!
